Relief for Resilience: Cosmos Foundation uplifts flood-affected farmers!
Cosmos Foundation, Pune, is a socially aware and leading organization in social work, established in Pune 30 years ago. The institution has undertaken several people-centric initiatives in educational, intellectual, social, sports, and medical fields. Through these initiatives, the organization has provided direct benefits to many poor and needy citizens in the form of financial and material assistance, and sometimes through medical services.
The institution regularly gathers information about ongoing social issues and disasters and extends a helping hand to citizens stuck in adverse situations in whatever way it can.
Currently, due to heavy rainfall in Marathwada and Vidarbha regions of Maharashtra, farmers have suffered substantial loss. Agriculture, which is their only means of livelihood, has been washed away, leaving many families homeless. In this situation, out of social responsibility towards our fellow citizens, Cosmos Foundation, Pune, is donating Rupees One Lakh as a token of support (‘petal instead of a flower’) to the Sakal Relief Fund through a cheque. We request that you accept this assistance and ensure that it reaches the flood-affected farmers.
