Cosmos Foundation Educational Scholarship Programme
Financial assistance for deserving students pursuing professional, vocational, and skill-based courses.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must meet all official guidelines and eligibility requirements to apply.
Academic Qualification
Successfully passed SSC and/or HSC board examinations to the satisfaction of the Foundation’s management.
State
Residency
Must belong to a family resident of the State of Maharashtra for more than 15 years.
General Family Income
Annual family income should not exceed ₹5,00,000, or ₹6,00,000 for agricultural families.
Course Recognition
Pursuing certificate course or diploma from an institution recognized by Central/State Govt, UGC, semi-government, or approved authorities.
Eligibility Disclaimer
A candidate who fulfils the above conditions may apply for the Cosmos Foundation Vocational/Professional Educational Scholarship. Fulfilment of eligibility does not confer the right to receive the scholarship and that selection is subject to availability of funds and approval of the management.

1. Application Submission
Submit the completed application form in Marathi or English before the specified deadline, either online or by Registered/Speed Post.
2. Required Documents
Attach all mandatory documents, including certified copies of your latest qualifying mark sheet, certificates, and other supporting documents.
3. Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants receiving financial assistance for the same course from any government or private scholarship scheme are not eligible for this scholarship.
4. Accurate Information
Provide complete and truthful information. Applications with false, incomplete, or misleading details will be rejected, and any scholarship already disbursed may be recovered.
5. Document Submission
Eligible applicants must submit the prescribed application form along with all required documents within the timeline specified by the Foundation.
1. Scholarship Amount
Financial assistance of up to ₹10,000 per academic year or 50% of the tuition fees, whichever is lower.
2. Payment Method
The scholarship amount is paid directly to the educational institution or credited to the student's bank account upon submission of valid fee payment proof.
3. Validity
The scholarship is valid only for the academic year for which it is awarded.
4. Renewal
A fresh application must be submitted each academic year. Renewal is not automatic.
5. Renewal Criteria
Renewal is subject to:
- the candidate having successfully passed the preceding academic year without any backlog, unless otherwise condoned by the Foundation;
- the candidate maintaining satisfactory academic performance and conduct, as determined by the Foundation;
- satisfactory attendance, wherever applicable;
- continued fulfillment of the eligibility criteria prescribed under this Scheme; and
- availability of funds and approval of the Management of the Foundation.
6. Final Decision
The Cosmos Foundation's decision regarding the scholarship amount, payment method, renewal, or discontinuation is final and binding.
Note :- It is desirable that every student who has received and benefited from the educational scholarship granted by the Trust should, upon attaining financial stability, voluntarily contribute such amount as he or she may deem fit to the Trust. Such voluntary contributions shall be utilized by the Trust exclusively for extending educational scholarships to other deserving and needy students, thereby perpetuating the charitable object of the Trust. It is, however, expressly clarified that the scholarship granted by the Trust is a non-refundable grant, and no beneficiary shall be under any legal or contractual obligation to repay the scholarship amount, whether with or without interest. Any contribution made by a beneficiary shall be purely voluntary and shall not be construed as repayment of the scholarship.
