About Legal Aid Centre
The Cosmos Foundation has recently established its Legal Aid Centre to provide free legal guidance and affordable legal assistance to women, senior citizens, and economically weaker sections of society.
Our Objectives
For Women
To provide free legal advice to women facing matrimonial issues, especially those from vulnerable and needy backgrounds.
Testamentary Matters
To provide legal advice on wills, codicils, and other testamentary matters to senior citizens and interested persons.
Legal Awareness
To educate the public on various legal subjects by conducting free lectures and workshops as and when required.
For Economically Weaker Sections
To provide legal services at nominal cost to senior citizens and women from economically weaker sections, to help protect their property and fundamental rights.
For Senior Citizens
To provide legal guidance to senior citizens facing harassment, ill-treatment, or property-related disputes with their children, particularly in respect of properties acquired from their own income and held in their name.
